The effectiveness of these flavored tablets can remove
the immature form of the heartworm, also known by its medical term
of Dirofilaria immitis, as well as control the Trichuris vulpis
whipworm, the hookworm Ancyclostoma caninum, and ascarids (roundworms),
with proven efficacy against a variety of parasites and fleas.
The combined medication that Sentinel Flavor Tabs
offers is enough to protect your dog against the heartworm and its
formula also contains an impelling ingredient for flea control and
prevention, in fact the tablets contains two active ingredients.
One of them is Milbemycin oxime, which is an oral medication commonly
used as an intestinal heartworm and wormer preventive interposing
with the parasite's nerve transmission, causing the death of such
parasites. The other ingredient adds to the formula the efficacy
of Lufenuron, which belongs to a class of drugs known as insect
development inhibitors and insect growth inhibitors that stop the
flea egg development preventing fleas from becoming adults with
their consequent reproduction.
For their beef flavored pleasant-tasting, the tablets
can be easily mixed into your pet's food once a month, all year
round. This dose is enough to give your dog full lifetime protection
against the most dangerous worms and fleas effectively and safely.
You can rely on Sentinel Flavor Tabs to work by giving to your dog
the proper medication prescribed by your veterinarian because, as
with other preventives, your dog must be tested for heartworm prior
to use this medication.
