Stop Fleas from Biting in
3-5 Minutes, and Kill 98-100% of Fleas Within 12 Hours of Application
Fritzl Says, "No
Fleas on Me!"
by Margaret Loris RN MS
I get emails nearly
everyday from people all over the world, asking me for my healing
assistance with their pet companions. I call my newsletter "The
Fritzl Flash for Fur People". Fritzl is my power companion, my little
dachshund.
Q: I always hear about the terrible side effects flea
sprays have on animals. What can I use to prevent fleas from infesting
my companion that is safe and natural?
A: I never use flea sprays and powders. If you do,
you should use them sparingly! And avoid getting the chemicals in
your companion's ears, nose or throat. An animal has to have reached
a certain age before the sprays can be used. Their lungs and respiratory
system are highly sensitive to toxic chemicals and pollutants.
Do you spray "Off" onto your skin?
Their skin will quickly absorb the chemicals you place
on them. These toxins are then absorbed into their bloodstream and
held in their livers for detoxification. Your pet then has to excrete
and dispose of all the harsh chemicals you are instilling onto them.
There are also sprays available especially for the
treatment of infested carpets and furniture etc. These sprays are
extremely dangerous to fish and birds. Remove all of God's creatures
from the room before using the spray. Leave the room that has been
treated with these sprays closed for about an hour and then ventilate
the room well.
I know a woman whose cat has severe asthma because
of this. She now spends a small fortune every month for medications.
At the slightest stimulation, the cat will have an asthma attack
and need to be rushed to the vet. She swears she will never spray
again!
There are some herbal sprays and shampoos available
from quality pet shops that are nonpoisonous. Some need to be used
on a more regular basis according to your pet and the area you live
in. There are even garlic tablets and sprays for your sweet companion.
You can rid your pet of fleas without resorting to
life-threatening chemicals. Here are a few tips that work:
1. I add a crushed clove of real garlic to Fritzl's
food. Garlic naturally boosts the immune system thereby making your
pet less attractive to fleas. It also produces a smell in the dog
(in humans too) that fleas don't like. Garlic will prevent worms
too.
Please note: It is inadvisable to give garlic to animals
suffering from liver, gall and bile duct ailments until these ailments
(where possible) are corrected. Please check with your vet.
2. A natural raw meaty bone diet renders a dog less
liable to flea infestation. Again, this diet boosts the immune system.
3. Supplement with vitamins and minerals. A dog who
is given a complete vitamin and mineral supplement is virtually
flea-proof. I give Fritzl Chlorella or Blue Green Algae which are
both excellent.
4. An aromatherapy combination of rosemary and eucalyptus
oil in a carrier are superb bug repellents. Just about 4-5 drops
each into a small (8 oz) spray bottle. Citronella works great too.
5. There are natural flea/tick collars using safe
aromatherapy oils at a reputable pet store.
6. To remove flea larvae, sprinkle salt on the floor
and carpet, sofas and chairs, and leave on for 30 minutes. Vacuum
thoroughly.
7. A number of herbal shampoos are now available in
shops or via the internet. Please read all the labels thoroughly.
Remember, your four legged angel needs your protection!

You need flea control medication for your pet immediately, and to
stop fleas returning.
How
much would you pay to ease your pet's suffering?
Advantage costs about
40 cents a day. That's a small price to ensure a flea-free pet and
home.
- On the first application Advantage kills 98 - 100%
of fleas on a pet within 12 hours
- New fleas jumping onto a treated pet will die within
2 - 8 hours of contact
- Applied monthly, Advantage kills adult fleas on
contact
Because it works so
fast, Advantage Flea Control provides relief from fleas within minutes.
Advantage is a proven flea killer and stops fleas from biting in
3 - 5 minutes after application. Advantage kills 98-100 percent
of fleas within 12 hours of application. In addition, one convenient
treatment lasts for up to one month.
Advantage Flea Control
is a topical flea adulticide, which means it is applied to your
pet's skin, and kills fleas on contact at the adult stage in their
life cycle.
Advantage Flea Control contains the active ingredient
Imidacloprid; the first compound of a new chemical group to be used
for flea control. Imidacloprid acts on the nervous system of the
flea to cause paralysis and subsequent death. Advantage also contains
benzyl alcohol. Benzyl alcohol helps Advantage spread quickly over
the skin of the pet.
Both substances are safe for you and your pet.
Consider the alternative - remember, one flea
can lay over 2,000 eggs in your home and live on your pet for several
months.
